Action on Disability Access in SRO Hotels: Tuesday, October 12, noon, Cadillac Hotel, 380 Eddy. The elevator keeps breaking down for long periods of time, leaving disabled people and seniors stranded in their rooms. We are calling on Cadillac Management to deliver food and packages to people who are stranded and provide a reduction of rent. Join us! Email Yesi for more details.

SF Access to Paid Time Off Campaign Launch: Tuesday, October 12, noon, City Hall.

SDA will join the California Domestic Workers Coalition in introducing the San Francisco Access to Paid Time Off ordinance. This ordinance would create a portable benefits system that would allow domestic workers to accrue sick time and paid time off from all their different employers. While domestic workers are legally entitled to paid sick leave, they have not been able to access this right. Join us at City Hall!
